Andrew D. Grossman is a partner and head of the civil litigation team at Rha Kim Grossman & McIlwain, LLP. His practice primarily focuses on helping businesses resolve management and ownership disputes, defend against lawsuits, and craft complex strategies to achieve their goals.

He was raised in Kentucky, and received a degree with honors from the University of Kentucky, double-majoring in political science and history. After graduating, he moved to California and obtained his Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. During law school, he served as president of the Student Bar Association, wrote and edited for the law review, won awards for academic excellence, and served as a member of the university board of trustees.

He practiced law for four years at a bankruptcy boutique in California before relocating to New York. He is a member of the New York and California Bars. Mr. Grossman’s experience includes civil trials on the state and federal level, both jury and non-jury, hundreds of contested legal motions, and countless negotiated settlements. His focus is on the long-term success of his business clients, and the majority of his practice is composed of repeat clients and referrals.

In addition to his legal work, Mr. Grossman is a published author, and his hobbies include reading, travel, and urban exploration. He facilitates a men's discussion group called Detoxifying Masculinity, and regularly donates his time to social justice causes.
